Your question is a good one. Unfortunately you find the best spas by word of mouth.  The most expensive ones are not always the best. You do have some home options that are beneficial for clogged pores and sun damaged skin. One example is home glycolic acid peels. This is beneficial for exfoliation and stimulation of the skin.  I also recommend topical vitamin C and a retinoid for daily use.  A good home program is essential for healthy skin.
