  The Obagi Blue Peel is an inoffice procedure designed to significantly improve the appearance and health of your skin. This peel uses trichloracetic acid (TCA) mixed with a proprietary blue base for an aggressive deep penetration into the skin. This procedure addresses irregular pigmentation, fine wrinkles, blemishes, acne scars, and sun damage. The damaged skin cells are replaced by healthier ones, allowing the skin's own clarity and tightness to resurface. Application takes approximately 40-60 minutes and does not require anesthesia. A natural hormone derivative, chaste tree extract, is a potent plant source of progesterone and an excellent skin humectant (hydrator). The Kojic and Azelaic acids contain anti-fungal, anti-microbial, and antibacterial properties making this peel ideal for adult acne patients. The Kojic acid decreases hyper-pigmentation creating more even skin tones. The Ascorbic Acid has lightening, anti-oxidant and collagen stimulating activity. Although ideal for menopausal skin, this peel is nonirritating and is beneficial for all skin types.
